We are excited to announce TWO specialty recording workshops featuring drums and guitars!
Spend a day in the studio experimenting with getting the best sounds, tones, and audio textures. In these free-form workshops, students will spend the day exploring different techniques for recording guitars and drums, including various microphone types and preamp selection and, and how even minor adjustments in position have a huge impact on the sound.
This is a hands-on environment and an exciting day of discovery and experimentation using all the available studio equipment.
Guitar Workshop $75
Monday July 27 – 10am to 4pm
*In addition to the studio amplifiers, students may bring their own guitars and amps to explore how they sound with various recording techniques.
Drum Workshop $75
Tuesday July 28 – 10am to 4pm
