Recording Studio
The recording studio at RAL Productions is equipped with a variety of modern and vintage recording equipment. We take a hybrid approach to signal processing with complete flexibility to record and mix completely in the box with all digital plugins and processing, or use real analog hardware for an authentic sound. Whichever you prefer, we can accommodate your choice of workflow.
Our collection of outboard equipment is a blend of high-end modern and vintage studio favorites found on countless hit records.
At the heart of the control room is a restored vintage analog Sound Workshop Series 34C recording console. This large-format mixing console features custom vintage API transformers and with a warm, clean sound.
Our Antelope Orion and Avid analog to digital converters interface directly to Pro Tools Ultimate at up to 192kHz for amazing fidelity and sound quality. Otari and Tascam reel-to-reel analog tape machines are also available for both tracking and mixdown.
A robust collection of modern and vintage outboard solid-state and tube preamps are available to bring additional texture to your sound. We offer a wide variety of microphones and outboard gear for capturing and creating the perfect sounds for your recordings.
